My dogs have been patients for a long time over the years! I’ve always thought a lot of both vets, Drs Julie and Kellie! Recently, my 10 yr old Lab had a couple accidents in the house which is abnormal for him. A vet visit with Dr Julie revealed he is now diabetic. I wanted to immediately start crying because I try so hard to keep his weight down and walk him everyday. Yet… that dreaded word Diabetes has become our reality! Dr Julie went way out of her way on an extremely busy day to help my boy! She taught me how to do injections, encouraged me that this is treatable and he will be okay! I appreciate both vets so so much and their staff!! Thank you so much!

I live one mile away and they aren't taking in new patients or seeing my sick pet… not even a wait list.

Words can’t describe how thankful I am for Oak Hill Animal Hospital. They have consistently went above and beyond for my two kitties over the last nine years and give the best animal care. This morning my cat Biggie had her first ever emergency. She hasn’t been feeling well for days but I had thought she was on the mend. However, in the middle of the night she started vomiting up bloody foam. She puked three different times and I was so terrified. I was prepared to drive to the 24/7 emergency vet in Louisville. However Oak Hill got us in first thing this morning. Good news is all her bloodwork came back great! Her kidneys, liver, thyroid, electrolytes, etc. everything is functioning the way it should be. She got an injection and some medications so let’s hope she is on the mend! Thank you so much Dr. Julie, Rachel, Brittanie, April, and everyone else who works so hard at Oak Hill. Truly the best clinic in town!
