Vca All Pet Emergency Center

I do appreciate your response to my post. I guess when I come in woth a cat screaming trying to use bathroom you would kinda think blood work would be a definite thing to do. I mean, that was the very first thing Stoneridge did and found blonde was in early stage kidney disease. They prescribed meds for that issue. I got probiotics and pain pills and something else. I was told by my vet to throw that stuff out and start on new stuff. Those pain pills could have hurt her! None of us are perfect. I get it. Bit still a bit disappointed that blood work was not done. Stoneridge knew in 15 minutes the problem. I guess I can say I wish I had waited for her vet but this was Friday and Labor Day weekend so I did not have a choice because I was so worried. The 2 people that took Blondi back I told them all of this and they wrote it down. Over and done at this point. My goal is to get my pet that I dearly love better. That is what truly matters. Im not mad, just certainly questioning why certain things were not done. She is better now, eating correct kidney food. Plus nausea shot and antibiotic shot.

When our beloved dog passed away suddenly on a Saturday, this was the only place available for us to get help. I was worried because of the bad reviews and nervous about how much it would cost for them to help us, but I called anyway. The young girl on the phone was so very caring and sweet. I could barely get the words out and she understood immediately what a difficult thing this was for us to have just experienced. She quoted me their prices and also explained there were local funeral homes who offered pet services and let me know I had the option of contacting them if I chose to get other quotes. We decided to use All Pet Emergency Vet to have our boy cremated without calling around to other places. Mainly because the price they quoted us was reasonable and we weren't sure if anywhere else would even be able to help us on a Saturday late afternoon. When we arrived, they came out with a gurney and brought him inside to a private room for us. We were able to sit with him in silence and share our last goodbyes for as long as we needed. When we were ready, they came in to get him and one of the vet techs was available for us to ask questions. He said that it appeared to be a sudden cardiac event and encouraged us to look into a certain kind of tumor that could have ruptured. He assured us that based on our story of the events that took place, there was nothing toxic he could have gotten into that would cause an immediate death like that and we didn't need to worry about our other dogs. Before we left, we were given a cutting of his fur and a clay paw print keepsake. We selected a beautiful urn and paid a little more to have it engraved. In all, it was less than $300 dollars and that was worth it for us to be able to get his remains back to keep with us. They have less expensive tiers as well, but we chose the most expensive option. He was returned to us in a beautiful gift bag with a certificate of cremation a couple weeks later. I cannot say enough how much they made a traumatic experience so much more bearable. They walked us through everything with compassion and kindness and gave us peace of mind by letting us speak with a tech to help us better understand what we just witnessed. I 100% recommend this office if you ever find yourself in need of their services. The staff was amazing. Thank you all so much. The Helmicks

Dr Henry and her staff were thorough, informative and showed excellent follow thru with referring us to the specialist our boy needed. Great compassion and knowledge thank u!

My older dog is grandma seizing and they told me they wouldn’t help him pass easily. I told him I didn’t need boarding I just needed help making him comfortable and they just kept saying, sorry - you can drive to Louisville. So I give them a 1 star for service. I won’t post a photo of my seizing dog.
